NFL Picks PUP

PUP finished the regular season going 26-6 in picks in the final two weeks; hopefully, that momentum will carry over.

Typically, the picks that end up being more accurate over on this site are the ones that come with as little explanation or “previewing” as possible. Now, all you folks will get will be a little preamble and your Wild Card picks.

You may proceed.

Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans | Saturday, 4:30pm | HOU -4.5 | NBC

A rematch of the first wild card game last season will probably yield similar results, though I don’t believe in this Houston team at all anymore. If they win this one, going to New England or Denver isn’t looking too promising. Houston

Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers | Saturday, 8pm | GB -7.5 | NBC

Minnesota won this matchup last week in Minneapolis; the rematch will likewise go to the home team in Wisconsin. Green Bay

Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens | Sunday, 1pm | BAL -7 | CBS

Had Ray Lewis not announced his retirement, I was set to pick the Colts in an upset. They still might win, because the Ravens had been trending downward, but I think they’ll carry some momentum for at least a week. Baltimore

Seattle Seahawks at Washington Redskins | Sunday, 4:30pm | SEA -3 | Fox

Perhaps my sensors need to be recalibrated, but I’ve had a feeling about this Seattle team for some weeks now. Seattle
