NHL Lockout Theater: The Official Song

NHL Lockout Theater

It should be abundantly clear, if it wasn’t months ago, that the NHL’s objective is to completely screw their own league out of existence. With a lockout driven by greed and little else, the only people getting a hockey stick up the yoo-hoo are the fans. We have to do something to entertain ourselves these days.

That being said, it’s time to fire up the NHL Lockout Theater. Our featured presentation is after the jump.

Today’s video comes to us from QX104, a country station in Winnipeg. Canada has been hit hardest by the NHL lockout, as its citizens are now reduced to wandering aimlessly through the streets, waiting for Don Cherry to return to their television screens. What these fans want to know is: Are the NHL and the players ever getting back together?

Editor’s note: If it was not apparent, I have the utmost respect for the people of Canada, their love of hockey, and what I can only assume is their universal distaste for Gary Bettman.
