Following the NFL games of Week 11, the NFC playoff picture has seen some important changes, most notably in the byes and in the NFC North. To see where we stand now, go after the jump.
With the 49ers’ win over the Bears, San Francisco is now the #2 seed and Chicago falls to the #5, because Green Bay has the tiebreaker and is therefore in first place.
There are seven teams “in the hunt” at 4-6 or better, with Tampa Bay now surprisingly leading them all. The Redskins have now pushed their way into the graphic because of their win over Philadelphia, which means a win at Dallas on Thanksgiving could further propel them forward. Remember that both teams are still alive in the NFC East, led by the Giants.
Seattle is the #6 seed instead of Tampa Bay because of the conference record, which currently favors the Seahawks. Seattle and Tampa Bay both defeated Minnesota.
There are no NFC clinching scenarios for Week 12.
